I'm interactive media/web developer for
Communication Arts magazine. Before CA, and even before I got into the computer game, I went through a lifetime of professional incarnations. I've done film and video camera operating,
acting on stage, and a handful of other things related to the performing arts. I play hand drums and guitar, speak reasonably fluent Spanish, wage a mean game of chess, and practice Yang style
T'ai Chi. I used to be a "professional"
juggler. Juggling, however, became my downfall. Ever since my initiation into the world of prestidigitory manipulations, I've never been able to embrace a "normal" lifestyle. Or was it the
existential phenomenology?
I'm very lucky to have some very good, creative
friends, and for peace of mind from the every day hustle-bustle, I spend a lot of time with a
Bulldog fork out in my rather large organic vegetable patch--Buy Organic!!!
FYI, Wium (I pronounce it 'wim') is originally a Danish name, but I come from the Icelandic Wium's. They've been on the island for 500 years. My family came to California in the 30's. Better weather.
